If you have questions about your tour
If you have any questions about your tour, either before or after the
photographs have been taken, please contact us with the TOUR ID you were
given when the session was scheduled for a speedy response.
It's easy to view and share your tour
When your tour was scheduled, you were given a TOUR ID. Once
your tour was published, you were sent an email with a link to your
tour. The link will be available for at least 12 months.
Forward that email to your webmaster to have the virtual tour added to
your existing website.
Many customers want to display additional information about the tour
photos, so we've partnered with Rising Star Websites to give you an easy
solution.
We make it easy for you to set up a website quickly
- Log into
Rising Star Websites and purchase a domain or transfer
an existing domain you already own.
- Purchase a WebSite Tonight--the 5 page site is usually
sufficient for most virtual tour promotional sites.
- Using the templates for Real Estate or any of the other
templates that appeal to you, create your site.
- On the main page of your site, put overview information.
- Create a page on the site for your tour and select the BLANK
layout which gives you a large block area on the page. Select
ADD BLOCK to add a content block.
- Select advanced editing for the new block and click on the HTML
tab, then insert the code below into the block (see notes in next
step for inserting code.)
- Click inside the box below and press CTRL + A to highlight the
entire section, press CTRL + C to copy that to the clipboard.
Use CTRL + V to paste that code into the block you created above.
Edit the code to reflect your tour rather than the tour in used in
the example code. The TOUR ID in the sample code is
"23462/0703721" -- the DIGITS after "TourServer/" and before
"/index.htm".
- Add additional info to your site such as property
features, address, or contact info in additional content boxes or on
additional pages of the website using the easy to follow
customization interface, and publish your site to the internet.
- Create links to your existing website or other websites of
interest.
If you requested an email copy of the tour, you were provided with a
collection of files as attachments to an email message. Save those
files into a temporary directory and double click on the INDEX.HTM file
to open it with your browser and view the tour. Note, tours are
not branded to allow you greater flexability in using them.
